Since being better organised and more structured allows the company to offer a better service to its customers, STIB is constantly improving its performance by deploying a Quality Management System according to the ISO9001 standard. This contributes to the cross-cutting performance of the divisions' activities and to the satisfaction of internal and external customers.
In 2021, the "Bus", "Tram", "Metro", "Technical Field Support" and "Rolling Stock" departments were ISO9001 certified in their entirety. Several departments have also obtained this certification for part of their activities, such as "Infrastructure", "Sales", "General Management" and "Administration & Finance".
