Cyclists driving a bus
... and bus drivers riding bikes! For one afternoon, each of us put ourselves in the other's shoes. This experiment was carried out with the Pro Velo, GRACQ and Fietsersbond associations. The aim was to raise awareness of the difficulties encountered by both bus drivers and cyclists in traffic, to create better mutual understanding and to prevent accidents.
These proved to be rich exchanges and all the participants agreed that a serene cohabitation in public areas requires knowledge and respect of the Highway Code, courtesy and a positive attitude.
