Revenue
Traffic revenues continued to increase in 2022, amounting to 265 million or 21% more than in 2021. This rise is in line with the increase in the number of journeys, which rose by 23% over the previous year. Although still impacted by the consequences of the health crisis, these results are encouraging and suggest a gradual return to 2019 levels.
Regional allocations were partially adjusted to compensate for the additional costs of the health crisis and inflation. For its part, the STIB is constantly striving to optimise its cost control and improve its efficiency.
